As busy as they were, they installed a new pool pump for me during a typical Florida down pour. Just had to replace a part which had to be ordered. Janet texted me on setting up appointments and communicating in a manner of appreciation vs “you are wasting my time”. The technician, Matt, was professional and courteous. I had a rogue contractor and Sonny and his team guided me thru the next steps quite graciously. They plumbed my pump and filter to the abandoned manifold, checking lines for accuracy of connections. It was such a blessing to have found them randomly and have them be the perfect ones to rescue me from the terrible situation I had been left in. Called due to low pressure and very limited return of water to the pool. A tech was scheduled for the next day (could have been same day but I had prior obligations) and came out on time with a text so I could make sure the dogs were not in the yard. The "junior" tech went through all the operations that would normally fix the pool but I don't do things normally : ). A Senior tech was then sent out and was very knowledgable and personable. Klaus "skimmed" over the previous checks and took me at my word on what I already did to try to fix the problem. He then proceeded to check out the lines and found that an O Ring on a Union joint under ground somehow became loose, all without any pressure tools. He lubed up the o-ring to ensure a proper seal, tightened it back up and had better pressure than I have had in awhile! Even gave me some tips on keeping things running better. I'm going to start by saying that we had our pool resurfaced 3 years ago (NOT by this company). The concrete started lifting and it was just a mess. I called fix my pool, Ed called back and set our appointment. We had other estimates but decided to go with fix my pool. So happy we did. From start to finish the process went smoothly and excellent. Ed is very knowledgeable, open communication and fair pricing. The crew did an outstanding job and we now have a beautiful pool. From Ed to the crew, everyone showed up exactly when they said they would and worked hard and it shows. Ed still calls and comes to check the pool which is great, they don't just do the work and forget about you. This company really cares about their customers. I contracted with Fix my pool to improve my waterfall and replace my pool equipment. I received and entered contract on 21 Feb 2025 initial payment rendered on 25 Feb 2025. No project manager, No real supervision of workers. They built my water fall outside of the pool cage, bricked around the pool cage support beam, and when sent the pictures and to let them know it was a problem, I got “It’s not going to look like that please don’t over think certain things with the waterfall.” I had to wait until Edwin showed up to get a check and touch the beam to explain was wrong, it was like he didn’t even see it. The screen was yet another issue as they removed a portion when creating the waterfall. They cut the support beam and wanted to leave the upper portion of the structure hanging without support. It took three trips for the screen repair team to fix the screen with me speaking on the phone with an English-speaking person who then explained to the workers. I had to stress that I was not going to be satisfied unless the screen was supported a manor, I thought was safe. They had to cut the rail to fit the waterfall and had jagged edges that would easily tear the screen if the wind blew. My husband finally added small pads to provide cushion on the jagged edges. Throughout this process I was in conversation off and on with Sonny. Any criticism was met with overly dramatic responses he was very sensitive to anything and tried to gaslight me as if I was the problem. The pictures with my shadow is the final state of my pool.
